Heather Nadolski

Brandon - Heather Leigh Nadolski, 33, of Brandon, passed away Saturday May 8, 2010, at home with her family by her side following a two and a half year courageous battle with cancer.




Heather was born Feb. 19, 1977, in Marshfield, the daughter of Sue(Bill) Dahl of Lake Geneva.



Heather graduated from Spencer High School in 1995. She then attended Mid-State Technical College in Stevens Point where she earned her associated degree in office administration in 1997.



Heather met her soul mate, Benjamin, working summers in high school at Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells. They married Oct. 16, 1999, in Portage. They have two sons, Nicholas, age 8, and Andrew, age 5.



As a family they enjoyed camping trips, biking, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling and ATVs. Heather and Ben were members of the Columbia County Corvette Club and enjoyed attending club events and camaraderie with their Vette friends. Heather enjoyed riding with Ben on motorcycle trips with the Berlin Chapter Blue Knights and Wardens on Wheels motorcycle clubs. She was very active with her son's school activities and local cub scouts. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan with an impressive collection of Packer memorabilia. She also enjoyed scrap booking and gardening.



Heather is survived by:her husband Benjamin of Brandon; two sons: Nicholas and Andrew of Brandon; her mother: Sue (Bill) Dahl of Lake Geneva; one sister: Heidi (Shane) Boe and their son Jordan of Spencer, Wis.; one brother: Jason Wickerham of Grand forks, N.D.; her grandparents: Gilbert and Mae Wickerham of Cameron, Wis.; grandfather: Marvin Trachte of Marshfield; grandmother: Janet Trachte of Cudahay, Wis.; special cousin: Katie (Mearl) Kehrmeyer of Manawa, Wis.; step-sister: Michelle (Scott) Schultz and their children Whitney, Dominick, Makenzie of Fountain, Col.; stepbrother: Kurt (Wendelyn) Dahl and their children Zander, Savanah, Madison of Watertown; step-brother: Jason Dahl of Coloma; step-brother: Craig Dahl and his son Chase of Neilsville, Wis; grandparents: Erlin and Irene Dahl of Granton, Wis,; mother- and father-in-law: Betty and Henry Nadolski of Portage; brother- and sister-in-law: Paul and Jenny Nadolski and their children Mathew, Jacob, and David of Pardeville; special grandmother: Mabel Pfuehler of Portage.



Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.



Heather was preceded in death by a special grandfather, Oscar Pfuehler, and a great-grandmother, Florence Mayer of Shawano.



A funeral mass for Heather will be held Wednesday, May 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun with Father Michael Sturm officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday, May 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen funeral Home in Waupun and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.



A memorial in Heathers name has been established at the Wells Fargo bank in Waupun.

2nd Annual Missouri Chapter Rally

The Second Annual Warden on Wheels (Missouri Chapter) Museum benefit ride will be June 11th, 12th & 13th, 2010.  This year’s theme: The Ozarks Rivers Run!
We had a great time last year and we hope this year is even better.  This is open to any current or retired Conservation Officer and their spouse.  Please invite anyone you know,  wardens from other states and provinces are welcome.

Here is a brief schedule:

Friday June 11 – 7:00 pm Fish Fry, Gregg Hitchings Residence, Belleview, M0. Iron County in SE Missouri.

Saturday June 12 – Outdoor cooked breakfast, Ride:  Johnson Shut – ins State Park, Shawnee Creek and the Jack’s Fork, lunch at Eminence/Alley Springs then we’ll ride to Big Springs National Park.  Dinner in Van Buren (great Bar –B –Q spot)

Sunday June 13 – Break camp,  say good bye and head home.
