FOURTH ANNUAL ROAD TRIP
JUNE 9th, 10th, AND 11th, 2012
HELLO, Plans are under way for our fourth annual Missouri Wardens on Wheels Motorcycle Run.
Friday June 8th travel day to Kirksville, MO to the Pryor house 28792 E. Center Way .We live 6 miles east of Kirksville, on Highway P. Follow Highway P until it turns to gravel. At the point where Highway P turns to gravel our house is on the north side of the road. The house is tan with a two car detached garage. We will have a sign posted at the driveway. We have a travel trailer that will sleep six (one queen bed and four bunk beds). Anyone is welcome to them. First call gets them. It has air conditioning and a bathroom and will be available to anyone who wants to sleep there. We have lots of room to pitch a tent, if that is what you want to do. Lynn McClamroch and Matt Wolken both have rooms available at their homes. First call gets them. Lynn’s phone number is (660) 665-3514 and Matt’s phone number is (660) 342-6725. If you want a hotel here in town, there is Comfort Inn (only motel on the north end of town) (660) 665-2205, on the south end of town there is a Super 8 (660) 665-8826, and a Holiday Inn Express (660) 627-1100. There are more motels in Kirksville, but these are the ones that most people stay at. Also available is Thousand Hills State Park located on the west side of Kirksville. They have cabins and campgrounds. The campgrounds phone number is (660) 665-6995 and cabin reservations can be made by calling (660) 665-7119. We will ride to Thousand Hills State Park for a fish fryon Friday night about 7:00 pm if all goes well. If everyone would like to meet at the Pryor house we will leave as a group at 6:30 pm.
Saturday June 9th we will meet at 8:00 AM in Kirksville at the north McDonalds (next to Wal-Mart) for breakfast and then start our 200+ mile ride for the day. We will travel through the North Missouri countryside stopping for lunch at Mark Twain Casino at LaGrange, MO. After lunch we will take a trip up the Mississippi River crossing on the Canton Ferry (approximately $4 per motorcycle). We will travel through the Tri-State area (Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa) arriving back at Kirksville in the early evening.

We will once again have t-shirts available, but we need to order in advance. The cost will be approximately $15. Please email and let me know the number of t-shirts you would like and what sizes by May 11, 2012.
Corie and I, along with Lynn & Mary McClamroch, are really looking forward to seeing everyone and doing our best to host this event and show everyone a good time. Please let us know if you plan to attend by sending me an email. Hope to see you in June.
