The 6th Annual Wardens on Wheels rally has successfully come and gone. A total of 16 bikes attended the rally with 18 riders. There were 22 people for the Friday night supper. We raised over $2,400.00 which brings our running total to over $14,000.00 in six years. Good job riders!
We had a mixed bag of weather this year and for the first time we had to retreat to the picnic shelter in order to hand out the poker run prizes and cook our supper. Everyone appeared to endure the hardship and have a good time visiting and sharing experiences.
On Saturday we unveiled the paving stone that we had commissioned. It turned out very nice and I promise it's the last time we'll tug on Ben's heart.
Planning has started for the 7th Annual rally on August 10th, 2013. Hotel rooms may be at a premium due to a wedding in the area but I'm sure we will have something suitable available.
