2014 Central Missouri Vineyard Ride
The Missouri Chapter of Wardens on Wheels annual ride will take place on the weekend of June 6-8, 2014. Everyone is welcome to join us on the ride.
Our “headquarters” this year will be based out of Alhonna Resort & Marina. This is a resort on world-renown Lake of the Ozarks. The resort contact information is:

Driving directions: From Business 54 and Route HH in Lake Ozark, travel west on Route HH to Horseshoe Bend Road, to Outer Road. Alhonna Resort is about a 7 mile ride west of Business 54.
The resort offers a restaurant, lounge, outside pool, sun deck, indoor pool, and two hot tubs and sauna.
Alhonna Resort is offering their “off-season” rates to us. If you choose to stay at Alhonna Resort you can choose from a number of options. Their options include: one room motel unit for up to two people, $71-77/night (depends on the type of bed: queen with daybed, two doubles, one king); one room efficiency for up to two people, $74/night (a queen with a hideabed); one room unit for 2-4 people, $80-145/night (depends on the type of bed); two bedroom unit for 4-6 people, $112-146/night; three bedroom unit for 6 people, $136-223; and a four bedroom unit for 8 people, $240-292/night.

Please plan on arriving at Alhonna Resort by 6pm on Friday, June 6. Dinner will be on-your-own. We can eat at the restaurant at the resort, or we can travel into Lake Ozark to one of the many dining restaurants. One can choose from fast-food, to elegant dining. After we eat we will have access to the sun deck to watch the sunset and socialize.
On Saturday, June 7 breakfast will be on-your-own. We will meet up as a group at McDonalds, 1726 Bagnell Dam Blvd, Lake Ozark. McDonalds is on Business 54 (Bagnell Dam Blvd.), just south of Route HH. We will depart at 8:30am.
We will travel along some very scenic roads, traveling through Iberia, Vienna, Owensville, and Swiss, ending up in Hermann for lunch. We will eat at Stone Hill Winery, and take a winery tour. We will continue our ride along the Missouri River bottoms, traveling through Mokane and Jefferson City. We will stop in Jefferson City to view the Missouri River, Capitol, law enforcement memorial, and enjoy some ice cream from the famous Central Dairy. We will then return to Alhonna Resort, crossing over Bagnell Dam.
On Saturday night we will have a fish fry provided for everyone on the sun deck at Alhonna Resort.
On Sunday breakfast will be on-your-own, and a travel day back home.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.
