2016 is going to be our 10th Annual Wardens on Wheels Rally on August 12-14! Time flies. Do you remember 2007, when George W was President and we were just starting a decade with Shephen Harper as Prime Minister?
Preparations are being made to make the 10th Annual the biggest and best rally ever. A block of 24 rooms has been reserved at the Quilt Inn at Lake Metigoshe. The rooms will be $94.00 per night and they will be held until mid July. Phone (701) 263-6500.
We will look to try and reserve all or most of the North Star and North Hill campgrounds. I would suggest we start in North Star and then book in North Hill after. North Star is across the road to the north of the boat launch and will keep us the farthest away from the rest of the campgrounds. Camp sites will be open for reservations after May 10th.

I will be touching base with the Dockside Restaurant and making a reservation for Friday night supper. It was good there last year and they welcome us to come back.
Doug has spoken to Larry and we will have a picnic shelter available in case of bad weather.
Originally I had thought of taking the Heather Nadolski Memorial Poker rally north of the border but after gathering farther opinions, we will be staying in the USA. I am thinking and hopeful that we will have around 40-50 bikes this year and we would be tied up at Customs for a long time with a large group like that.
I'm having a friend build us a custom knife for the rally. We could do a playing card raffle for the knife if that is what the group wants. Start thinking about some unique prizes for the poker rally table. In a couple months I will get the pledge forms out so we can raise some more much needed cash for the Game Warden Museum. We've raised over $20,000.00 in the last 9 years and I'm sure we can come up with a good donation this year too.
I have put together a "Moon" themed video of last year's ride. I'm hoping this will get you excited for this year's event.
